Youseum: Creative and Corona-safe
May, 22nd 2020
It’s official: Youseum is re-opening its doors on June 1st, in line with the Dutch government’s Covid guidelines! We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you back through our doors, and to see our rooms photographed and inspiration-filled once again.
And as more locals look for corona-safe things to do in Amsterdam, the question we’ve heard most through the last couple of weeks is: how will we guarantee that Youseum is corona-safe for guests?
1. Safety is a top priority
In order to guarantee the safety of both guests and personnel, we’ve made the difficult choice to suspend guided tours for the time being. We will provide hand sanitizer throughout the experience, and clearly marked signs instructing guests where to move along their journey. We’re doing our best to make Youseum one of the safest, Corona-safe things to do in Amsterdam.
2. Creativity is a top priority
In order to ensure that you’ll be able to take full advantage of Youseum’s kaleidoscopic series of rooms and backdrops, our Heroes will be around to ensure that small groups maintain necessary social distance from one another, and that no more than a single group occupies any of our rooms at a time. But this will never hinder your ability to create stunning pictures and cool content within our walls!
3. Escape is a top priority
Through these difficult times we understand that the opportunity to leave the house and have some fun is more important than ever. We’ve implemented these measures in order to guarantee all of our guests a few hours of stress free escape, and creative immersion into our fun-filled and colourful spaces. Youseum is and will continue to be one of the Corona-safest things to do in Amsterdam.

We can’t wait to welcome you on the 1st of June! Until then, keep on doing you 💙
